I am the only attorney in Tulsa and 1 of only 2 in the state of Oklahoma who is Board Certified in DUI Defense under the American Bar Association guidelines. There are only 33 attorneys who are so recognized in the United States. I am called on often to teach other attorneys about DUI Defense techniques. Lawyers from Oklahoma and other states refer difficult cases to me and consult with me regarding their cases. I have been quoted in the Tulsa World and the local television stations interview me for comments and expertise on current legal issues.

I have received national training in all aspects of DUI defense, which allows me to effectively defend my clients. This includes Certification in administering the standardized field sobriety test (SFST’s) – I like to refer to them as roadside gymnastic tests. Also, I am certified as an Instructor of these SFST tests. This means I am qualified to teach the police officer how to PROPERLY administer and evaluate the test. You benefit from this training because I literally ‘know more’ than the cop and can cross-examine him effectively.

I am an experienced trial attorney. A recent victory involved a woman charged with 2 counts of first-degree manslaughter. She had taken a blood test that showed a blood-alcohol level of .21 – almost 3 times the legal limit. She was found not guilty. This demonstrates that I have the training and skills to represent you, but it is not a guarantee of success in any future cases.

I am respected by my peers and called upon as an expert to teach other attorneys. I only take cases for clients who want to be vigorously defended and receive all legal protections the law offers. I initially meet personally with my clients for a free initial consultation that last for 1 to 1½ hours. After our time together I can you give an evaluation of your case, noting what issues and cost we may face.
